This training module is designed for information facilitators and PCT staff working towards the implementation of systems for communicating clinical data providing an understanding of the role they can play in supporting practices to implement new NHS Connecting for Health programmes that enable data sharing.

Delegates will learn about the benefits of the various programmes being supported by NHS Connecting for Health by testing their knowledge and identifying their own learning needs.

This training will also draw on real clinical communication system implementation case studies to share and identify the key factors for success.

Through mapping the information flows between these new systems, delegates will consider the critical areas of data quality and patient safety.
